This is a commemorative website for author, decorated WWII veteran aviator, wilderness guide and photographer Phil Arnot. Phil was an extraordinary individual, facing the challenges of World War 2 aerial combat and finding a new level of awareness in the majesty and mystery of some of the world’s great wilderness and mountainous regions of the world, especially in the Sierra Nevada of California. A group of his close friends have banned together to honor him with this website, featuring his writings and photographs. We have added our own words, photos and videos.
